My name is Jaye Pillar. I graduated from Edith Cowan University in 2016 with a Bachelor of Science (Occupational Therapy). I completed a university practicum in the area of paediatric Occupational Therapy which I thoroughly enjoyed, and this experience fuelled my interest in working with children. In my final year of university my passion and knowledge of paediatric Occupational Therapy grew as I spent time working as a therapy assistant at KZ Speech.
I actively seek out new opportunities for learning and growth to better my clinical skills. I am a current member of the Developmental Occupational Therapy WA interest group. I love working with children and their families and seeing them develop skills, grow their confidence and reach their potentials.
I love to travel and have spent time in Europe, Indonesia and the USA. I enjoy cooking, listening to music, watching movies and spending time with friends and family. I have a cat name Muffy and a dog named Molly. One of my favourite things to do is to take Molly for walks along the beach.
